Firefly Institute is an independent mental health clinic serving individuals and families across the lifespan. We are specialized in providing integrated services through the lens of trauma informed care. Treatment modalities include but not limited to: Relational Cultural Therapy, Narrative Therapies, CBT, DBT, Expressive Arts, Animal Assisted Human Health, EMDR and movement-based interventions for addressing presenting concerns.
Firefly Institute is Seeking:
- Full time (30+ hrs/wk), master’s level providers
- Fully licensed and credentialed in Oregon: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD
- Associate, provisional, or restricted licenses in Oregon: CSWA, PCA, MFTA

Firefly associate positions are contracted (1099) partners within the organization. Clinicians create and maintain their own schedule for client care, have flexibility, and receive administrative support to achieve a work/life balance. All associates are connected to and are provided support by the institute in:
- Medical health record keeping system (an EHR system)
- Community/case consultation
- Treatment planning and documentation support
- Medical billing
- Claims processing and accounting
- Private offices (no office sharing)
- Large group room available for any provider to schedule use
Additional opportunities include teaching, research, and supervision. Compensation varies depending upon the associate's level of education/credentialing and desired number of client work hours per week. Fee schedules, projections, and comprehensive data analysis are provided to all associates to help support the associate in managing their caseload and to provide guidance for salary expectations.
Education/Qualifications Clinical Staff:
Possession of a Master's degree or higher from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, nursing or related field. Clinicians at Firefly who do not possess an independent license are required to be pursuing their licensing under supervision. Supervision is available through the organization to associates.
2 years of experience in direct mental health services preferred. Diagnostic interviewing and counseling experience preferred. Mastery of a theory base and the ability to engage clients in direct practice is required.
Applicants with licensure in another state must achieve licensing in Oregon to qualify.
